LALAHotels was created to fill a gap. To fill a gap of somewhere affordable to stay, for globally savvy, locally rooted, progressive change makers, who advocate for sustainability and self-care. We’re open to all, engaging, mindful, and we offer comfortable accommodation, mouth-wateringly delicious food, and community-based activities that will make you never want to leave.
A Conscious approach
Designed for the African continent, we wanted to be careful not to appropriate any cultures. We’ve tried, aesthetically, to respond to the continent’s modern textures, fine art, and vibrant music, and whenever and wherever we can, we give back to the communities in which we operate.
We’ve worked with as many locally based artisans as possible to put our best creative foot forward for you to enjoy, and we’re constantly engaging with our neighbours to showcase their work through our evolving interiors.
And on top of all of this, we care about the environment. We have a single-use plastic ban and we recycle in every way possible. We also clean our water using our 100% tested on-site reverse osmosis plant, which is then transferred for our guests into re-usable poly-carbonate bottles. Better yet, we won’t charge you for this water!
